New Cop Considered For North Haledon Department NORTH HALEDON, N.J. -- North Haledon's preliminary budget includes room for a new police officer, reports northjersey.com. Just Say No To Feeding Deer In Little Falls LITTLE FALLS, N.J. -- The deer population is growing in Little Falls and officials are reminding residents that it's illegal to feed wildlife, reports northjersey.com. The Town Council formed a Wildlife Committee and the long-quiet Great Notch Association recently met to discuss growing concerns over deer, the paper said. Deer can cause an increase in car accidents and can also spread Lyme disease and ticks. Feeding the deer encourage them to return, officials told the paper. Longtime East Rutherford Educator Carole Sudol, 72, Of Wallington WALLINGTON, N.J. -- Carole Ann Sudol of Wallington died on March 21 after a long illness. She was 72. Born in Wallington, she was the daughter of the late Anthony E. Sudol and Wanda Sudol. Raised in East Rutherford, she knew she wanted to be a teacher as early as the third grade. After graduating from East Rutherford High School, she went on to Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, earning her B.S. degree in English in 1966.
