Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Man In US On Visa Sentenced For Raping Unconscious Victim In Jersey City A Nigerian man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for raping an unconscious woman in his basement apartment in Jersey City, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said.  Silver Iwuchukwu, 28,  assaulted the unconscious 18-year-old woman in his basement apartment Oct. 29, 2017, authorities said. The assault was captured on surveillance video. Iwuchukwu was convicted by a jury in July.  The woman did not know Iwuchukwu before the attack, authorities also said. Shoplifter Bites Secaucus Police Officer, Authorities Say A woman faces charges of resisting arrest and assault for allegedly biting a police officer's hand during an arrest last week in Secaucus, police said.  Officers were called to the Walmart on Plaza Drive Oct. 8 on a report of shoplifting. Officers arrived and arrested Shamina Burton, 26, Tiffany Rodriguez, 28, and Emily Pizzaro, 26, all of the Bronx. 4 People, Including 2 Firefighters, Hurt In Newark Blaze Two women were hospitalized for injuries suffered in a fire in Newark Sunday, authorities said.  The fire started at 39 Sunset Ave. around 12:35 p.m. and spread to a vacant building next door before it was extinguished shortly before 1 p.m.  In addition to the civilians who were hurt, two firefighters suffered shoulder injuries. One was treated at the scene and the other firefighter was taken to University Hospital.  The cause of the fire, which displaced five adults and a child, was under investigation by the arson unit.
