UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- A Merit Scholarship in being offered by the Upper Saddle River PBA. A $2,000 college scholarship will be awarded to an Upper Saddle River student who exhibits excellence and achievement in the areas of academics, leadership and community service. The Upper Saddle River PBA considers a number of criteria when determining eligibility for a scholarship. There is no set combination of criteria that will guarantee an award. Rutherford Library Arranges Spring Book Sale
RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New and gently used books, DVDs and CDs are wanted for the Rutherford Library's annual spring book sale.The library will begin accepting donations beginning Monday, March 28. Donations can be dropped off at the Rutherford Public Library during normal business hours. The Friends of the Library of Rutherford will once again host the sale on Friday, April 29 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m in the Library's Auditorium.
