Steven Guardindo, age 56, of Wilmington, North Carolina, was arrested on July 11 by Darien Police for the March 2023 incident. According to Darien Police Sgt. Driver Critical Following 3-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 12:16 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, on Route 211 West in Wallkill. According to Lt. CT Man Struck By Lightning As Severe Storms Roared Through Region A 34-year-old Connecticut man was struck by lightning as several severe thunderstorms ripped through the area. The incident occurred in New London County around 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, on Orchard Farms Road in Colchester. According to Colchester Fire Chief Steve Hoffmann, crews responded to the home and found the man "conscious and alert" but suffering from chest pains.
