She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Beloved Former Greenwich PD Officer Dies At Age 76 The Greenwich Police Department is mourning the loss of one its retired longtime beloved officers. Sergeant Richard Daly Jr., age 76, died on Friday, Aug. 23, the department said. Daly was born on Sept. 11, 1947, and raised in Stamford. Prior to becoming a Greenwich Police officer, he served in the US Army from 1967 to 1971. During his career as a police officer, he served in the Patrol and Detective Divisions before being promoted to Sergeant in 1998. Students' Cell Phones Will Be Locked Up At Poughkeepsie Middle School A funny thing happened at a Hudson Valley high school last year when students were required to lock up their cell phones during the day—it worked, and now the middle school is joining the club. Poughkeepsie Schools Superintendent Dr. Eric Rosser said the Yondr pouch program was launched in Dutchess County at Poughkeepsie High School in April. 22-Year-Old Nyack Man Killed In Thruway Crash In Clarkstown A 22-year-old Hudson Valley man was killed after allegedly attempting to pass another vehicle on the Thruway. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 11:25 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, on I-87 in Clarkstown. According to the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Michael Dipierno, age 22, of Nyack, was driving a 2005 Honda motorcycle north on I-87 when he attempted to pass a vehicle on the median shoulder and lost control on the rumble strips. Waterbury 28-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Parked Car A 28-year-old Connecticut man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after being ejected and hitting a parked car. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:19 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 25, on Hill Street at Pilgrim Avenue in Waterbury. According to Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette, a preliminary investigation indicated that the operator lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected, making contact with an unoccupied parked vehicle. Woman Who Stole $800K From Boys & Girls Club Of Greenwich Nabbed In Florida, Police Say An out-of-state woman is behind bars for allegedly stealing $800,000 from a Fairfield County Boys & Girls Club through a wire transfer over the computer. Debora Marcoccio, age 68, of Florida, was extradited from the Lee County Jail in Fort Myers, Florida, on Wednesday, Aug. 21, by the Greenwich Police. According to Lt. Woman Found Shot On Sparkill Street Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a woman was found unconscious with a single gunshot wound on a city street. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:40 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, in the area of Edward Street and the Joseph B. Clarke Rail Trail in Sparkill. According to Orangetown Police Sgt. Duo Charged With Hate Crimes After Attacking UPS Driver In Montebello Two men have been charged with alleged assault as a hate crime after attacking a UPS driver while using racial slurs and attempting to steal the keys to his vehicle.
