Going Once: $20 Million Greenwich Estate To Be Offered At Auction
A scenic Connecticut estate known for its views, infinity pool, and orchards will hit the auction block this month at a listed price of $20 million.
According to Zillow, the recently renovated French County estate, located in Fairfield County in Greenwich at 58 Quaker Lane, features five bedrooms, 5.2 baths, and seven fireplaces.
Zillow said the auction bids will run from Thursday, Sept. 19, to Wednesday, Sept. 25. The starting bids are expected to be between $6 million and $12 million.
An open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 8.

Hartford County resident Cody Schrlau, of Southington, was reported missing from his home on Monday, Sept. 2.
Southington Police Det. Thomas Atterrato described Cody as being slender, 5-foot-4, 90 pounds, with dirty blonde hair.

1 Dead, 2 Missing In Old Saybrook Boating Accident
A man is dead, and two people are still missing following a boat accident in Connecticut.
The incident occurred in Middlesex County in Old Saybrook around 9:15 p.m., Monday, Sept. 2.
According to Will Healey, spokesman for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Police, multiple agencies responded and found a single motorboat floating, half-submerged, near the Harbor One Marina in Old Saybrook.
"There was significant damage to the boat, which hit the east-facing jetty at the mouth of the Connecticut River," said Healey.
