Motorcyclist Killed In High-Speed Crash With SUV: West Deptford PD  A 44-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV in West Deptford on Wednesday, Jan. 29, authorities said. At 12:22 p.m., officers responded to Grove Avenue and Crozier Avenue, West Deptford police said.  An investigation determined a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed had collided with an SUV that was attempting to make a left turn from Grove Avenue onto Crozier Avenue, police said. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Puppy With String Wrapped Around Nose Found Chained On Route 280 In Roseland: Authorities A 7-month old cockapoo is recovering after it was found chained to a guardrail on Route 280 in Roseland on Monday, Jan. 20, authorities said.  The puppy was wet from the snow, shivering and had string tied around its nose, the borough of Roseland said in a release. The puppy had a right rear leg injury and was limping and was not groomed in months, authorities said. Man Found Floating In Hackensack River In Jersey City: Prosecutor A 49-year-old Cliffwood man was found floating in the Hackensack River on Tuesday, Jan. 28, authorities said. At 4:30 p.m., the Jersey City Police Department was notified of a body floating underneath the Pulaski Skyway and Bryan Linington was found floating in the water, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
