An (almost) lifelong Westchester resident, Sam has reported on all facets of Westchester since he graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in print journalism, including stints at North County News and The Examiner. A film columnist for WAG Magazine, Sam's moviegoing expertise has been profiled in the New York Times and he was a featured guest on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live.

Mike McNamara, Popular Jersey City Photographer, Dad Dies Mike McNamara, an institution in the Jersey City arts community, died on Friday, Feb. 16, due to a complication after surgery, according to a fundraiser set up to support his family. A photographer, McNamara dedicated his time to the Brunswick Community Garden in Jersey City.  "He was an amazing photographer, a great organizer of so many events that brought us all together, a father, a husband, and much more," Beth Achenbach, a Jersey City artist said on Facebook.  "I'm glad to have known him." Samiiyah Lopez-McMillan was last seen on the 90 block of Fabyan Place on Friday, Feb. 16, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said. She was reported missing on Thursday, Feb. 22, Fragé said.
