Fairfield Police: Brooklyn Man Arrested After Fleeing Midday Crash Scene FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Brooklyn man was arrested Sunday when he drove off an I-95 exit ramp and hit signs and a standing traffic signal post before fleeing the scene with his passenger, police said. Police: Staffer Finds Men Using Cocaine In Fairfield Restaurant Men's Room FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested early Sunday after he was found using cocaine in the men’s room of a local restaurant, police said. An employee at Geronimo’s Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill told officers two men were in the bathroom for about 15 minutes when he went in and found them snorting cocaine off a cell phone, police said. Police: Fairfield Man Brandishes Knives, Threatens To 'Kill Reptiles' FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 22-year-old Fairfield man pulled two knives on a younger victim Friday and threatened to kill his reptiles for failing to open a home’s door fast enough, police said. Tanner Blank, of Rowland Road, was charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct just before 6:30 p.m., after he found the home’s door locked and called on the victim, who was inside, to open it. Pedaling For A Cure: Six Norwalk Cyclists Take Part In Cancer Challenge NORWALK, Conn. — Six fit Norwalk cyclists will take on the 38th Pan-Mass Challenge this summer, hoping to raise millions for cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Institute. On Aug. 5 and 6, the cyclists will join about 6,200 riders riding up to 192 miles in the Massachusetts-based challenge. They are: Beth Allen Reilly, Connie Reiss, Vasso Kelly, Christina Lake, David Keelan and Mike Towey. Police: Stratford Man Arrested In Westport Credit Card Theft WESTPORT, Conn. — A Stratford man was arrested here July 13 after he used a credit card stolen during a November vehicle break-in, police said. Joseph Finnegan, 20, of Laughli Road East, was charged with conspiracy to commit credit card theft, conspiracy to commit illegal use of credit card and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, police said.
