Connecticut State Troubadour Mixes Music With Upbeat Message FAIRFIELD, Conn. — To become Connecticut’s state troubadour, Fairfield folk singer-songwriter Kristen Graves had to complete an artist’s statement, get letters of recommendation and write a song about the Constitution State.
