Fairfield Cops: Man With Violent Record Charged With Harassing Co-Worker FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Waterbury man with a violent criminal record was arrested Friday on charges of calling and texting a co-worker 19 times after she broke off their on again/off again relationship, Fairfield police said. On the night of April 25, the Bridgeport victim went to police headquarters, saying her co-worker, Jerome Desmond Wilson, 41, of Franklin Street, was harassing her, police said. Fairfield Cops: Woman Arrested After Fleeing Scene Of SUV Crash Into Tree FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield woman was arrested after she ran her car into a tree and left the scene early Sunday, police said. A Sherwood Drive man awoke at about 2:30 a.m. to a loud crash, police said. He called police at 7:30 a.m. when he went out to find a black SUV had been smashed into his tree, police said. Heroin Addict Arrested In Stratford Burglary Faces New Charges In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A self-proclaimed heroin addict with a long criminal record was arrested Friday in connection with a February burglary at a Rhode Island Avenue home, Fairfield police said.
