NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- Wayne Ackert Sr., of New Paltz, died on Saturday, April 2. He was 75.

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Joe Cubias, regional vice president of Weichert, Realtors, recently announced that the Clifton office was recognized for outstanding success in February.

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Joan I. O'Leary -- a Rhinebeck resident, formerly of Peekskill -- died on Monday, April 4. She was 86. Born in Staten Island, O'Leary attended Notre Dame College in Staten Island and later attended New Paltz College, where she received her teaching certification. She worked for over 20 years teaching first grade in the Peekskill School District.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Michael T. Gasparik, of Ridgewood, died on Monday, April 4. He was 91.
Gasparik graduated from Columbia University and St. John's Law School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his daughters, Lenore, Michelle, Laura and Marjorie; four grandchildren; and siblings Helen Younger and Frank Gasparik. He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, and his daughter, Valerie.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Harold Lehrer, a longtime resident of Port Chester, died on Saturday, April 2. He was 92. Born in New York City, Lehrer grew up in Harrison.
