Teaneck Voter Registration Deadline Looms TEANECK, N.J. -- As the Tuesday, April 19, deadline approaches for those wanting to vote in the May 10 municipal election, the Teaneck township clerk's office has announced additional evening hours on Tuesdays. May Upper Saddle River Car Show Cancelled UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Upper Saddle River Fire Department is cancelling its 2016 car show, due to an unexpected loss of venue. "We sincerely appreciate all of you who have participated in our event for the past 15 years," event organizers noted in a Wednesday, April 6, Facebook post. "If circumstances change, we will reschedule later on in the season." Those who preregistered will receive refunds. Organizers also apologized for any inconvenience and urged that folks participate in other area car shows sponsored by other volunteer organizations.

Free Rabies Clinics Arrive In Wayne In May WAYNE, N.J. -- Wayne Mayor Chris Vergano is reminding residents that the Township has a free rabies clinics for both dogs and cats, in May.The clinics are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3, 10 and 17, at the Wayne Township Municipal Garage, on Dey Road from 6 to 8 p.m. All pets must be accompanied by an adult and leashed or contained in carriers. Proof of 2016 license is required.
