Winning Artists Honored In New Milford Gallery Sunday NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Teaneck resident Pat Wilson won first place in the Bergen County Senior Juried Show at the Art Center of Northern New Jersey. She and the winners of all 10 categories will honored with a reception on Sunday, July 17. Wilson's oil portrait is titled "Bobbie in Red Gloves." The winners in all 10 categories -- oil, pastel, watercolor, sculpture, drawing, mixed media, acrylic, photography, printmaking and computer art -- will also compete in a statewide show. Piermont FD Will Hold Candlelight Vigil For Dallas Officers Sunday PIERMONT, N.Y. -- The Piermont Fire Department will be hosting a candlelight vigil on Sunday, July 17, to honor the fallen Dallas Police Department and Dallas Area Rapid Transit officers. As a peaceful protest over fatal police shootings of African-American men in Louisiana and Minnesota drew to a close in Dallas last Thursday, a gunman opened fire on police officers. Four police officers and one DART officer were killed, and seven officers were wounded. The vigil is set to begin at 8 p.m. in Flywheel Park, Piermont.
