Man Driving Wrong Way On Connector Arrested In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. — A Milford man was arrested Monday after police found him traveling south on the northbound lanes of the Sherwood Island Connector, police said. Police said they smelled a distinct odor of marijuana and alcohol on Darrius Richardson, 36, of Cowles Street, Milford. He failed the standard field sobriety test and refused a breath test, police said. Richardson was charged with operation under the influence of drugs or alcohol and driving the wrong way, police said. He was help on $2,500 and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15, police said.
